We have booked two programs for Australia Zoo Keeper for the Day. Khaki Discovery Zoo Keeper for a Day AGES 7-11 Years and Khaki Extreme Zoo Keeper For A Day - for ages 12-16 years.

It's an early start with everyone needing to be at the gates at 8am to meet me.  Registration is at 8.30am and the course begins at 9am.  The zoo keeper tickets includes lunch and access to the park.  For adults and extra siblings please use other ticket options which are also discounted for our group. Due to the early start we are unable to provide transport and it will be up to each individual family to make sure they are at Australia Zoo in time for the program to start.  We will be staying overnight the previous night.

Khaki Discovery Zoo Keeper For A Day - for ages 7-11 years

Get ready to learn what it takes to be a zoo

keeper and meet some of our amazing animals along the way.

Here is everything you need to know to prepare for your day at the zoo:

Program schedule

Sign in for your program is at 9.00am. On arrival please park in the zoo car park and meet us at the

roped off registration area at Australia Zoo Admissions.

Your budding zoo keeper will be ready for pick up for lunch at

approximately midday at the Outdoor Learning Centre (near the jumping pillow). We will all spend lunch together before watching the Wildlife Warriors show at 1.15pm. With our day officially finishing around 2pm.  If you are unable to meet your child for lunch and the show just let me know, as they can stay with us.

What to bring

 Lunch is included in the program, but please bring plenty of snacks (please no nuts);

 Comfortable, enclosed shoes;

 Sun smart clothing;

 Sunscreen and bug repellent (recommended)

 Warm jumper and/or wet weather gear – the program will continue even if it’s raining;

 A camera to collect memories (optional);

 A small, light bag to carry your belongings.
